Guitars

José Almarcha uses “Mariano Conde” guitars for all his concerts and collaborations. These guitars are tailored to suit the guitarist’s technical and musical needs, providing creative freedom, technical ease and the flamenco sound that defines all Mariano Conde guitars.

Tomelloso vio nacer
al flamenco José Almarcha.
Córdoba fué a enriquecer
su saber, y tras su marcha
Madrid alistó su ser,
sin un “porqué” ni algún “para”,
a filas de tañedores.
Los “palos” son tenedores
con que alimenta “sonantas”.
“Sonantas” de viejo arraigo,
de amistad de pose alta.
“Vejezate” que vigila
desde Amnistía, “La Mancha”.

Since 2012, José Almarcha exclusively uses Mariano Conde guitars, from the established firm Conde Hermanos, nephews of Domingo Esteso, and the 4th generation of a dynasty of artisan guitar makers in Madrid since 1915.
